Co-PI/Senior Postdoctoral Positions at Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, Fudan University, Shanghai, China

Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center affiliated with Fudan University (formerly named as Shanghai Infectious Disease Hospital) was established in 1914 and has been dedicating to combat against infectious diseases and tumors. The center is constituted of both clinical settings with 660 beds and research settings with state of the art facilities and equipments. The integrity and close collaboration between the clinical and research settings was exemplified by the first identification of 2013 H7N9 as a novel influenza virus causing severe pneumonia in patients in the world. Overall, the facility is optimized for clinical treatment and researches for translational medicine and infectious/cancer immunology. 

Current opening positions include:

(1)  Research Co-PI/Postdoctoral positions for cell-based Immunotherapy: Two Co-PI/postdoctoral positions for cell-based Immunotherapy (Position Code: DSR1 for Co-PI and DSR2 for postdoc. position) are available in a group headed by Dr. Jianqing Xu. Candidates at the Research Co-PI level should have completed his/her postdoctoral training, and at least three-year experiences in cell culture. Previous experiences to produce immune cells for Immunotherapy or to generate stem cells for therapy will be preferred.

(2)  Research Co-PI/Postdoctoral positions: Two Co-PI/postdoctoral positions (Position Code: DSR3 for Co-PI and DSR4 for postdoc. position) are opening in a group headed by Dr. Jianqing Xu. The ideal candidates should be specialized to clone human antibodies or to design antibodies by bioinformatics tools. Research Co-PI should have completed his/her postdoctoral training. Previous experiences on antibody cloning based on EBV immortalized B cells or sorted plasma/memory B cells will be greatly appreciated.
